Cell Phone Bag

Ran across a really fantastic item at my FAV local quilt shop. QuiltSmart has a preprinted pattern on fusible interfacing for a cell phone bag. Each panel gives you 3 bags. Lays flat and has place for cell phone and credit card/cash when shopping. My first thought was how perfect for fabric and sewing shopping!

I added a clip for my car keys so can eliminate the purse/tote entirely!
This little bag is very close to some I had already made, but having the interfacing ready to cut was a really big bonus if you are short on time. Gives a nice stability to it. Plan to get another panel!

Seeing these little bags reminded me of the others I used to make, so pulling out that pattern and thinking of holiday gifts! Never too soon when we all stay so busy!

Happy Sewing & Quilting!

These are very clever. Do you wear it like a lanyard around your neck? Or over your shoulder?

Hi Eileen,
I make the strap long enough to go over the shoulder and hang on the opposite hip - make sense? Then it is not just swinging loose on the shoulder and slipping.
