Reuse and Recyle an old Jean Skirt
Christmas is just around the corner now with our Thanksgiving holiday over. Time for some gift making! I pulled out some older clothes and found an a-line jean skirt I no longer wear. With some cutting and adding lace and trim, I now have a cute little skirt for a young girl.
The waist was fine so all I had to cut was some length (will use that later to make an adorable jean purse). I determined where I wanted the two gussets, and marked them with a marking pencil. Cut out my lace piece and sewed it in. Added some ribbon and a star (made with the Angelina Fibers) and I was finished in about 40 minutes. Not too bad for the first one.
Happy Sewing and just have fun with your holiday gifts this year!
