New Local Quilt Shop

Always a pleasant surprise to see a new quilt shop in the area, especially when only about 10 minutes from home. As soon as I walked in the door, I was met with smiles and felt right at home. Bella Quilts is located on Main Street, Hamilton, Ohio and is owned by Raven Parris. A delightful and cozy shop. Raven is very knowledgeable in Civil War Reproduction fabric and quilts AND she collects featherweights! Loads to talk about.

Before long, she helped me audition and narrow down my fabric for my small wall hanging. I love the colors and, yes, she knows exactly what each was called during the era.

I know my BERNINA 450 will zip through piecing, and applique. Excited to try some free-motion quilting with it. I have some quilting thoughts sketched out as a starting point for final touches.

Remember if you are near Hamilton, Ohio drop by and visit Raven at her shop. You may leave with some lovely fabrics.

Happy Stitchery!
Charlene
