

After piecing your blocks just begin choosing stitches to embellish. Have several new feet you need to learn to use? Pull them out and start adding sequins, beading, or even ribbons and bows.
Have a serger that does a chainstich or coverstitch? This is another wonderful way to practice all the stitches you have available. The coverstitch can be sewn to simulate open lace, or change the stitch width to more narrow.

Choose your own size - make a large quilt, a lap quilt, or just a small wallhanging!
Be creative and learn at the same time!
