Lesson One - Vintage Dishtowel to Dainty Apron (color hard copy)
When I first began using the binder sewing attachment many years ago, I didn't realize its full potential until I used it more and more. It is now an "old friend" to pull out and use.
The best lesson is practice. Pull out your attachments and use them. Throw away the mistakes and keep moving forward.

This is Lesson One - Learning to use your bias gauge (Greist called theirs the "Scissors Cutting Gauge"), your Binder, and your Ruffler. When you have finished, you will feel comfortable moving on to something more challenging, yet you will have completed a beautiful full apron which you can be very proud of! I just had to choose the apron for this first lesson, as that is what I first learned in school and I do love the older aprons!
Use your bias gauge, binder, and ruffler to create a stunning apron! Complete instructions and photos to guide you along the way. Ever wondered why your ruffler just doesn't ruffle? Use some of my added tips and hints. You will quickly learn to use these attachments.
Learn how to use three of your vintage attachments in a creative way!
I give detailed and clear instructions of how to create your personal binding, insert into your binder, and begin sewing!
Your apron will have a very delicate ruffle at the bottom, created from your choice of lace or sheer ribbon! Choose something that just "suits your fancy"!
The first lesson starts with a vintage apron - just love those bold colors! - and matching fabric.
I do give you the complete list of materials.
When you have finished, you will have learned how to use your bias gauge to create your own personal binding, how to use your binder, and your ruffler AND have created a full apron you can be proud of!
You will receive my 10 page instructions, full of photos, list of materials, and all the instructions.
(If you would prefer an electronic copy, we have those available)
