Bias Binder Tape Maker 2" (50mm)
QUILTERS - This is Perfect for your Quilts
How do you know which size you need?
Follow a few simple rules to find out.....
Let's look at the 1/2" Tape Maker (just an example as this item is the 2 inch).
If I am using the 1/2 inch tape maker. I will cut my fabric twice that width
= 1 inch.
Cut one end into a point and insert into the tape maker.
As you pull from one end, the tape maker creates the folds.
Press with your iron - best to press it using the iron as shown.

After pressing, your binding is now the correct width of 1 ".
When binding the raw edge of another fabric, it will take one more fold.
Now you have 1/2 inch of binding showing on one side of your fabric.
So the rule is simple.
Cut twice the size of the size of the tape maker.
When binding a raw edge, the results are half the size of the tape maker.
