This is one of the best tools for creating PERFECT binding -
regardless of the angle~
I was ready to bind my table runner. I had created the design to fit a specific table, and was very proud of it! Lo and behold!
Several of the angles were not my normal 90 degree - they were 120 degree. Others were 90 degree.
This is the first time I used the Binding Miter Tool and I am glad I reached for it.
There are full instructions in the Brand NEW package, however I will show you.
Fold the bias strip lengthwise, wrong sides together.
Stitch to the quilt, raw edges together. Start about 1/4" from the beginning edge, and stop about 1/4" from the end.
Sew your first strip on, fold it up. Stitch your second strip.
Fold your runner in half, so the bias binding are placed on on top the other.
Find your angle. Center the angle point. With a marking pen, trace around the template. This is the stitching line.
Stitch and trim.
Turn and stitch.
Perfect mitered corner - AND it was one of those tricky 120 degree angles.
