The Zip Bind System is a hand binding system consisting of several tools
3 sizes of Zip Guns and Zip Clips - Large, medium, and small (plus extra clips)
3 sizes of Minute Miters - 1 & 1/2", 1", and 1/2"
Zip Bind Tool - Not one straight pin needs to be used, nor any measuring. Perfect for anything that needs binding, clipping, or mitering
Sew-Mate - like a stiletto, will push, pull, lift, tug, rip; protects your fingers from the machine or your iron
The best way is to see everything in action! Please be patient as there are a lot of items in this one kit, and I want to show them all.
The Sew-Mate works like a stiletto, keeping items in place as you stitch or iron
Nice sharp tool on one end, and a gripping tool on the other. You will find tons of used for them either sewing, quilting, or any craft work.
The Zip Gun and Clips is fantastic!
Absolutely NO PINS! Think of all those sharp pins when you are hand binding your quilt. Like to take your smaller work with you, but just don't want to have pins in it? Perfect, just clip and go!
Push the zip gun and the clip comes out, and binds to your fabric.
This is really fun! Just push the white lever, out comes your clip and clipped onto your fabric, and you move on to the next. Just fun! (practical of course, also)
When you are ready to remove them, just slide them and put back into the container.
A slot in the back is where they go - ready to be used over & over.
I have started using these instead of straight pins.

Now, for mitering corners of your quilt.
You will use the Minute Miters to create perfect mitered corners every time.

Now we will use the Zip Bind to hold and sew.
The Zip Bind is adjustable depending on the size of your binding.
I set mine to match the top, and the same at the back.
By clipping onto my binding, I can now just sew - move the Zip Bind down - and continue sewing. When hand sewing, I would work from the back. As this is a hot pad, I just want to stitch-in-the-ditch from the front.
Again, no pins!

As I come to a corner, I hand fold my miter in place and add the Zip Bind onto it. Then sew.
I can honestly say it was fun adding my binding.
I like the idea of no pins to add, remove, get lost on the floor, or laying around for "little hands" to find. The zip gun and clips stay on until I take them off. The Zip Bind helps me keep my binding where I want it, while sewing.
Perfect for hand sewing the back side of my quilt. Fun to use, easy on the hands, and if you have trouble gripping those pins at times - this can work much better.
At a later date, I will have some of these items sold separately.
The cost of the kit is much more reasonable - and you get everything at once!
