A very lovely and older pin cushion. Hand made with the smallest of stitches.
The pin cushion is cloth sewn over lightweight card type. Open the lid and a tiny groove is found to place your thimble. Several pieces of linen for addional pins.
The pin cushion is surrounded by spools of thread, which would be removable by untying the ribbon. Holes were made with very tiny white eyelets.
Made from a silky fabric.
At the widest areas, measures about 4 3/4" across and 3" high.
