Bentwood Sewing Cases

The beautiful Bentwood Sewing Cases have been around for quite a long while. One of the earlier patents was by Nathaniel R. Van Horn, issued June 4, 1889. This patent was assigned to The Union Manufacturing Company and is patent number 404752.
Another early patent was given to Edward H. Craige in September 1890; patent number 437145.
